November 23 - Winter Festival, McVille - Santa and Mrs. Claus attend Lighting of the Winter Wonderland in the Park Celebrate winter with McVille on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Events include residential lighting contest, light show in the City Park, Santa and Mrs. Claus hand out treats for the children, and a warm-up reception held in McVille City Auditorium includes cookies and cidar, hot chocolate and various musical entertainment. November 28 - 30, December 5 - 6, December 12 - 13 - Dickens Village Festival, Garrison - Each weekend, walk the streets of downtown and eat delicious hot baked potatoes and sausages on a stick, warm up with a cup of English tea, shop the English Market for Victorian treasures and English gifts.
